The ubiquitous computer did not even spare the Audio-Video arena, where realistic sound reproduction and high resolution video images are also generated in the same manner as business software are operated. The availability of CD-ROMs have increased the requrements of the speakers attached to it, almost music, not only video, but includes interaction, where the audience participate. Unlike in home Hi-Fi Audio Systems, where the listener does not participate. The only difference is that the space allowable where the speaker system can mount would be the computer table itself, much limited real estate, hence the challenge would be to squeeze as much performance as possible into a small sized table top book shelf speaker with high performance.
